Snowboarding has been my passion since I was a boy and I started shooting in 2007. Living and documenting its lifestyle, publish in magazines, show the world how awesome and fulfilling it can be has been my “job” ever since. I try to put my finger on the beauty of it, to capture in which ways I find it senseful. Most importantly I’m trying to turn my photos into painting-like pictures, that is why I use film and process them so that they would look like drawings. Bromoil prints and etchings are also going towards that direction. Grain, contrast, texture, the hole process from framing to dark-room techniques is aiming towards producing timeless icons which represent snowboarding to me.
